Eudoxia

PROJECT

"Eudoxia is guided by my conviction that landscape design is both personally expressive and socially motivated." (Michael Van Valkenburg)

Eudoxia is a garden designed by Michael Van Valkenburg intended for an urban setting.  The
garden is composed of abstracted geometric
forms and spaces linked by a broken axis.
The forms are balanced by proportion rather
than symmetry.

After studying Eudoxia, the findings were diagrammed into five different categories:
Ordering Principles, Geometric Composition,
Figure Ground, Concept, Proportion System
