PROJECT

Program: AutoCad
Grading and stormwater runoff construction documents were devised
for a new office complex development on a 5 acre site. The client
wanted two separate office buildings, a central plaza, parking lot
and a drop off area; all connected to the main street by a an entry road
providing a scenic approach.
An analysis of the site was first completed before that grading and
road alignment could be calculated. The soil texture, existing land use
and cover, location, and existing storm water volume were identified.
Once the building and parking layout were determined, the entry road
alignment was calculated and designed by disturbing the least
amount of existing trees possible. Then the stormwater was diverted
from the proposed structures and designed to flow into a retention pond
located at the lowest point of the site.
